Mark Leckenby – CEO & FounderMark Leckenby is the founder and CEO of Auzion Solar Power. Mark has 25 years experience as an electrical engineer and founded Auzion in 2008, having spent much of his career in telecommunications, which included the design and installation of solar powered radio communications facilities. Mark has also patented a solution for managing electromagnetic radiation risk from mobile phone towers, a technology that is used throughout the telecommunications industry in Australia and has been exported to Germany. Based at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Innovation Centre, Auzion maintains strong affiliations with the University through a number of joint projects with their Sustainability Research Centre and Engineering Department. Mark is passionate about sustainability and the environment and holds accreditations with the BCSE (Clean Energy Council) for solar design and supervision, and the ABSA (Association of Building and Sustainability Assessors). |

Steve Clark – Project ManagerAs Project Manager, Steve Clark joined the Auzion team in March 2010 and is responsible for the project management of larger commercial solar system installations. Steve brings a wealth of experience to his position, holding a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New South Wales and having spent 18 years as an Operations Excellence Manager for Caltex. |

Brad Homan – Customer Services ManagerJoining Auzion in early 2010 Brad is the Auzion Customer Services Manager and is responsible for all aspects of customer care, ensuring our customers remain a strong focus at all times. He is also the face of Auzion’s weatherman in the company’s television commercials. |

Jacqui O’Sullivan – Finance managerOriginally from Cheltenham in the UK, Jacqui moved to Australia in 2009 and joined Auzion as Finance Manager in late 2010. A Management Accountant from the UK, Jacqui was ‘head hunted’ by Auzion for the position. Jacqui’s role in the company is to manage the company finances with the aid of the finance team. |

Colin Bentley – Operations ManagerAs Operations Manager since December 2010, Colin takes on the huge responsibility of coordinating the whole operations for every Auzion solar power installation. Originally from Liverpool, England Colin moved to Australia in January 2010 and holds a number of qualifications including a 4-year electrical trade apprenticeship, Higher National Certificate (HNC) in electrical engineering and also is CEC accredited and qualified for electrical testing. Prior to Auzion, Colin worked in Brisbane for MPA Engineering as an electrical estimator and manager of the solar division for 2 years. |

Russell Taylor – Sales & Marketing ManagerOriginally starting his journey with Auzion as a customer, Russell went on to join the team in April 2010 as a Sales Representative. With a strong background and passion for sales, later that year in November, Russell took on the huge task of setting up the Auzion Call Centre. Now as Sales & Marketing Manager, Russell’s primary role is to manage the day to day Auzion sales and marketing operations. |
Research and Development TeamOur research and development team includes some of Australia’s brightest young minds. Combining their tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Systems, ICT and International Business, our R&D team are equipt to find solutions for the trickiest of technical problems. Responsible for the IT and database systems, creating online applications and the design, research and development of electronic hardware and software for our latest products, including our AuziMax Energy Management System, the R&D team play a integral role in keeping Auzion at the leading edge of the renewable energy sector. |
