New AuziRack provides better choice for solar installers
Queensland-based solar company, Auzion, is leading the way for the solar industry with the release of their latest product innovation, the AuziRack Mounting System.
The AuziRack is a unique Australian innovative product designed for the future and is the brainchild of Auzion’s founder, Mark Leckenby, who boasts more than 25 years experience as an electrical engineer.
The system was developed by industry experts and has been ‘over-engineered’ to ensure its effectiveness and suitability to all environments. Manufactured locally in Brisbane for Auzion from solid constructed aluminum extrusions, the AuziRack is set to streamline the installation process and improve the performance of solar panels.
Refined and perfected, the AuziRack ticks all the boxes. It is fully accredited for use in Australia and New Zealand and is suitable for tile and metal roofs, it has a 5-year warranty and is rated for all Australian cyclone zones. Auzion also appointed independent structural engineers to assess the system’s wind rating and ‘pull out’ effect during the development phase.
Its custom designed features are what sets the AuziRack apart from other products on the market. Some of these features include:
• Minimal and Multi-Functional Parts – The AuziRack has fewer parts than traditional mounting systems allowing for speed and ease of installation. Its multi-functional components also enables the installer to choose the method that best suits the situation and most of the work can be completed using one simple socket wrench.
• Better Ventilation – Solar panels work at optimum performance when operating at a cooler temperature. The AuziRack elevates the panels 50 to 100mm higher than other racking systems, allowing for increased airflow and cooling.
• 5mm Neoprene Foot Bracket Lining – The AuziRack’s 5mm rubber lining provides better separation between the two dissimilar metals (roof and racking foot brackets). Most racking systems use only a thin 2mm thick lining which can crack and break down causing the racking components to rust over time and affect the strength of the system.
• More Secure – The AuziRack’s rail joiner is designed with a unique locking mechanism that provides added strength when extending and joining multiple rails.
• Optional Extras – The AuziRack also comes with a number of optional extras including a slotted duct allowing for better cable management and protection.
