10kW – Geoff’s Commercial Auzion Solar System

Geoff Enright, owner of Enrights North Coast Removals in Kunda Park installed a 10kW Auzion Solar PV system on his business in June 2011.

The install came after Geoff experienced the benefits of solar first-hand from the 1.5kW Auzion system on his home.

“My company electricity bills weren’t all that high, I just really wanted to take advantage of the tax benefits, generate an income and do the right thing by the environment,” Geoff said.

“The return on investment was too good to refuse and after doing the sums, the large initial cost of the system would be quickly offset by the return,” Geoff said.

Geoff said he chose Auzion to perform the install on his business because of their long-standing good reputation and affiliations with the University of the Sunshine Coast.

“I am really happy with the way my installation was handled, everything ran really smoothly,” Geoff said.

“I was particularly impressed with the workmanship and Auzion’s ability to keep me informed throughout the entire installation process,” Geoff said.

“In fact, I am hoping to expand the system on my home to a 2.2kW next year.”

“Yes, I would definitely recommend Auzion.”

“I haven’t received my first electricity bill since the install but I have been eagerly checking the power generation meter and it continues to go up and up,” Geoff said.

The 10kW system is comprised of 40 x 250W UL-250D Ulica Mono-crystalline Photovoltaic (PV) solar panels with 16.8% cell efficiency. The panels are manufactured with high quality tempered glass and aluminium frame, are resistant to wind and snow and come with a 25-year performance guarantee.

Accompanying the panels are two PVO-5000-OUTD inverters, which will ensure Geoff’s system always produces power even if one inverter is not performing. Both inverters have dual input, high speed MPPT for real time power tracking and improved energy yield, reverse polarity, are transformer-less for highest efficiency (up to 97%) and have a LCD Display to allow monitoring of power, daily energy, total energy, currents and voltages.
